HISTORY
In the early 1950's Dave Whitlock started developing hopper patterns. Taking a Joe's Hopper and modifying it with a
spun deerhair head he created what he called a Muddler Hopper. Through an evolutionary process we now have the now
very popular 'Dave's Hopper' - tied all around the world and often in many subtle variations. This is a proven and
realistic pattern wherever hoppers are found.
