HISTORY
Without a doubt the Jock Scott is one of the most popular classic salmon flies of today. Along with the Green
Highlander and the Gordon the Jock Scott is probably tied more often by tiers of True Classic salmon flies
than anyother of the flies of old. The Jock Scott was designed by Mr. John Scott around 1850. The Jock Scott
was written about by just about every salmon fly writer then and now. It is a true Classic's Classic.
