Aumsville – James,
68, died Friday in Salem. He was born in Davidson, TN. and moved
to Aumsville when he was 16 and has lived there ever since.
James was a marine service technician for over 30 years. He
always enjoyed visiting with his boat customers.
What was really
important to James was his family and friends, especially his
granddaughter and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed listening to
country music. Even though his prognosis was bad, he entered
clinical research for the benefit of future cancer patients,
always thinking of others.
James is survived by

Brothers: Ronald Jenkins of Nashville, TN.; Dell Jenkins of
Reseca, GA. And
Mark Jenkins of Marysville, WA.; Sisters: Junie Claggett of
Valdosta, GA. And Ruth Ritchie of Jacksonville, FL.;
Granddaughter: Stephanie Savage of Aumsville; and
Great-grandchildren: Michael & Savannah Savage of Aumsville.
Companion of 20 years Brenda Jenkins, her children and
services were held. In his memory contributions may be made to
