Beverly Ann Kelley
April 17, 1942 March 23, 2009

The world lost a joyous soul, Beverly Ann Kelley, Monday, March 23, 2009.  She passed away, surrounded by her loving family, in Tualatin from back surgery complications at the age of 66.  Beverly was born April 17, 1942 in Portland, to Fred and Marie Weis.  Beverly was a devoted mother to Beth, Lisa, Dean and Todd; and a loving older sister to Diane, Kathy, Jerry and Roy.

Beverly was a devout catholic all of her life. She attended Sacred Heart High School in Salem the first 2 years of high school where she was a cheerleader.  She graduated from St Boniface in Sublimity. There, she met Robert Koenig and they were married for 18 years. Together, they owned and operated a 450 acre row crop farm. They had four children and sent them all to 12 years of Catholic school in Stayton. She graduated from Marylhurst with an associate degree in secretarial studies. She worked for State Farm for 30 years as an executive secretary and a word processor.

Beverly married Stan Kelley March 20, 1987 and they just celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary. She never missed a chance to play cards.  She enjoyed going to the beach,  gambling, going to the movies, eating out, and traveling. Beverly's favorite destinations included Disneyland which she visited often over the years, and a cherished trip to London.  She liked baking, sewing,  reading, going to church, camping trips, snow skiing, Christmas shopping for kids and grand kids, and spending time with family - an even greater twinkle lit up her eyes at Christmas time as she decked the halls; wrapped the presents, and baked the goodies.

Beverly is survived by husband, Stan Kelley; mother, Marie Weis; daughters, Beth Morey and Lisa Elias (John); sons Dean and Todd Koenig; grandsons Jerod and Zachary Morey; step son, Braden Kelley (Kathy); step daughter, Lisa Crawford (Charlie);  step granddaughters, Gabriella and Christina; step grandson, William; sisters, Diane (Dick) Koenig and Kathy (Greg) Letts; brothers,  Jerry (Sally) and Roy (Katie) Weis. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Fred Weis, who passed away in 2004.

We can't express how much we will miss her warm, cheerful spirit.  Our world will not be as bright without her, but she has gone lovingly into the Father's hands and Heaven has gained an angel.

A rosary will be held at 9:30am Saturday, March 28th at St Boniface Church in Sublimity, Oregon. The memorial service will immediately follow at 10am at St Boniface as well. The address is 375 SE Church St Sublimity, OR 97385.  A reception will follow in the rectory basement.  Donations in memory of Beverly can be made to Regis High School/St. Mary School, Stayton, Oregon.  Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton
