Clinton Samuel Shoemaker
May 17, 1930 ~ June 8, 2009

Clinton Shoemaker was born on May 17, 1930 in Sheridan, Oregon. A graduate of Amity High School class of 1948.  He resided in Keizer, Oregon for 47 years where he passed away at home after an extended illness on June 8, 2009 with his wife Catherine by his side.

Clinton is survived by his wife Catherine, his children Michael, Kathleen, Jessica, and Paul, brothers Darven, Butch, Sam, Lonnie and Max and many grandchildren.

Clint, as his friends called him was a longtime member of Jehovah’s Witnesses where he had many close friends with whom he attended services and acquired deep spiritual faith in the Bible and the certainty of the resurrection hope that is spoken of at John 5:28,29. He died with the assurance of that resurrection into a Paradise Earth where Jehovah God “will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and  death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” Rev. 21:4.

Clinton and his family were greatly assisted throughout his extended illness by the loving care of the Odyssey Hospice, his sons Michael and Paul, as well as his many “ spiritual Brothers and Sisters” at the River Road Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. I’ll miss you PaPa, Love little Paul.

A memorial service for Clinton Samuel Shoemaker 79 will be at 2pm Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 5138 Tenth Avenue N.E. Keizer, Oregon.  Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services. Online Condolences at
