Scio – Dennis, 55,
died Wednesday in Scio. He was born in Oil City, PA. Dennis
moved to Salem in 1992 from Sacramento then to Scio in 2000. He
served in the US Army in the Vietnam War. Dennis worked as an
electrician for over 20 years. He was a member of first Church
of God in Scio and Disabled American Veterans. Dennis was a
Nascar fan and had a black belt in Karate.
He is survived by his
Daughters: Dennice Smith of Indio, CA. and Crystal Smith of
Hesperia, CA.; Sons: Thomas Smith of Indio, CA. and Tyler Smith of Hesperia, CA. Sister: Joyce
Gumm of Scio; Brothers: Charles Smith and Howard Smith both of
Albany, Robert Smith of Columbia Falls, MT., Frank Smith of
Woodland, CA. and Michael Smith of Phoenix, AZ. 3 –
Granddaughters.
At his request there
will be no services held. Serving the family North
Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
