McMinnville –
Curtis, 67, died December 15, 2009 in McMinnville. He was born
in Riddle and grew up there, graduating from Days Creek HS,
later moving to the Salem area. Curtis served in the US
Navy and the US Marines during the Vietnam War. He received his
Bachelor’s in Technology from OIT and worked as a lab tech at
Salem Hospital for over 30 years. Curtis was a member of the NRA
and American Hunters Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Curtis is survived by
his son: Thad Weakley of Scio; Daughters: Teresa (Ty) Jones of
Scio and Megan Weakley of Oregon City; Brothers: Charles
(Darlene) Weakley of Riddle and Claude (Mary) Weakley of
Medford; Sister: Carla (Rob) Willbanks of Riddle and Grandsons:
Tiry & Austin Jones of Scio.
Celebration of Life
will be held, January 9, 2010 from 1-4 at the Stayton Community
Center in Stayton. Serving the family North
