Ronald Cannon
April 2, 1932 – July 3, 2010

Gates – Ronald, 78, died Saturday, July 3 in Gates. He was born in Torrance, CA. Ronald moved to Gates in 1977. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Ronald worked as a lift truck operator for Frank Lumber Co. for over 18 years. He married Myrtle McDowell on April 11, 1963 in Las Vegas, Nevada, she preceded him in death on March 5, 2008.

Ronald is survived by his daughter: Denise (Rick) Larsen of Menifee, CA.; Step-son: Robert (Lynn) Yates of Gates; Step-Mother: Ferne Cannon of Torrance, CA.; Step-brother: Don Cannon of Mahatten Beach, CA.; Grandchildren: Brett Larsen, Mallory Larsen, Angela Moreno, and Dawn Aquino; Great-grandchildren:  Trisha Schulz, Alex Middleton and Cordell Hutson.

There will be no services held at his request. Contributions may be made to the Gates Fire Department. Serving the family North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
