Murrell L. “Mickey” Clack
May 1, 1924 – April 25, 2010

Stayton – Mickey, 85, died Sunday in Stayton, with many family members present. She was born in Gorman, Tennessee to Herbert R. and Bertha L. (Clark) Gentry. Mickey grew up in Tennessee and Michigan, moving to Oregon in 1942,  and to Stayton in 1977. She welded in shipyards during WWII and later was secretary to the Captain of the Port in Long Beach, California. Mickey enjoyed fishing, was an avid reader, and loved going to the beach.

Mickey married John Clack on December 27, 1963 in Reno, Nevada. She is survived by her husband John of Stayton; Children: Kathleen, John Bradley and Harold T. Clack all of Salem and Cayce Isenberger of Stayton; Sister: Cora Turner of Hermiston; 14 – Grandchildren; 18 – Great-grandchildren; and 2 – Great-great-grandchildren. Mickey was preceded in death by daughter, Julie Ann (Clack) Miley and sister, Jean (Gentry) Tinsley.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Saints Stayton Ward, where she was a member. Interment in Wisner Cemetery, Scio. Serving the family North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
