Scio – Donald, 83,
died Saturday in Scio. He was born in North Bend and lived in
Myrtle Creek until moving to Scio in 2001. Donald served in the US
Navy during WWII. He worked as a warehouse foreman for 35 years
for the Telephone Co. Donald was a member of Scio Christian
Church. He enjoyed reading and woodworking.
Donald married Geneva
Clark October 11, 2003 in Scio. He is survived by his wife Geneva
of Scio; Sons: Bob Hamlin of Leavenworth, WA. And Kenneth Hamlin
of Lebanon; Daughter: Kathy Singer of McMinnville; Brother: Gene
Hamlin of Portland; Sister: Linda Bowker of Portland;
9-Grandchildren; Numerous great-grandchildren; many nieces and
nephews.
Memorial Service will be
Saturday March 6, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Scio Christian Church.
