F. Kelly
March 13, 1931 – April 30, 2010
Aumsville
– James, 79, died Friday, April 30 in Aumsville. He was born in
Galena, MO., and grew up in Missouri. James retired from 20 years
of service in the US Navy, serving in Korea and Vietnam, later he
worked as an electrician for 24 years. His wife Dorothy Glenn
preceded him in death in 1973. James moved to Aumsville in 1999.
He was a member of The Free and Accepted Masons, American Legion,
and the Commander’s Club of the Disabled American Veterans.
James collected furniture and other things from Japan while in the
service. He was a perfectionist and enjoyed playing pinochle,
growing tomatoes, fishing, hunting, playing the stock market and
watching Nascar. James was the last of 10 in his family.
He
is survived by his step-daughter: Deborah Merhar of Reno, Nev.,
Sister-in-laws: Margaret Kelly of Stayton and Alice Kelly of Santa
Rosa, CA., 4- grandchildren; and 3 – great-great-grandchildren,
he was preceded in death by his step-son Steve. There will be no
services at his request. Serving the family North
