Sublimity – Wesley,
89, died December 2 in Sublimity. He was born in Jerome, ID.
Wesley lived in Galt, CA for 7 years, in La Mirada, CA for 20
years, 12 years in Deer Park, WA before moving to Sublimity in
1997. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Wesley worked as a
warehouse superintendent for over 20 years for General Mills. He
had an interest in ranching, enjoyed golfing, writing poetry,
dancing, woodworking, playing pinochle and playing pool.
Wesley married Dorothy
Keye on September 1, 1945 in Pittsburg, PA. He is survived by his
wife: Dorothy of Sublimity; Children: Keye (Becky) Perry of
Austin, TX. and Patricia Anne (Bob) Young of Salem; 8
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; he was preceded in death
by 3 sisters.
Military honors will be
Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1:45 pm at Sloper Residence
followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm at Maurice’s Bistro
both at Marian Estates in Sublimity. Contributions may be made to
Signature Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Network. Serving the
