Turner – Alice, 96,
died Saturday March 20 in Turner. She was born in Mott, North
Dakota and moved to Turner in 1946. Alice worked at West Stayton
Elementary School for over 30 years. She married Alfred Thompson
on March 20, 1938 in Mott, ND., he preceded her in death in 1979.
Alice was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 54 years, she
enjoyed spending quality time talking with others about her love
for Jehovah God, and she also enjoyed crocheting. She is survived
by her daughters: Linda Thompson of Turner and LaVonne Brown of
Cloverdale; Son: Clifford Thompson of Turner; 9 – Grandchildren,
16 – Great-grandchildren, and 6 – great-great-grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by her daughter: Christine Kergil.
Memorial Service will be
Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 1:30 PM at Lancaster Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah’s Witnesses 4795 Macleay Rd. SE Salem. Serving the
family North Santiam
