Dean H. Allison
July 28, 1924 – May 29, 2011

Scio – Dean, 86, died May 29 in Sublimity. He was born in Taber, Alberta, Canada. Dean served in the US Navy during  WWII and Korea. He piloted F6F and F4U fighters in the Pacific Theater. During the Korean War he served as a crew chief on carriers. Dean married Claire Hunger on April 20, 1979 in Reno, NV. He is survived by his wife Claire of Sublimity; nieces: Sharon Ward of Tijeras, NM, Lynn Ross of Springfield, VA., and Maureen Pope of Alamo, CA. and 3 step children. No services will be held per his request. Private interment in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
