Lyons –
Albert, 61, died Tuesday in Lyons. He was born in
Stockton, California. Albert grew up in Lincoln City,
graduating from Taft High School, he then lived in Portland and
Salem until moving to Lyons 11 years ago. Albert served in the US
Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a mechanic all his life.
Albert enjoyed motorcycles and horses. He served as a pastor for
the United Evangelical Church.
Albert is
survived by children: Albert R. Palmer of Salem, Heather Palmer of
Salem, Chad Cobine of Salem, Joey Cobine of Independence, Rachel
Waldon of Salem, William Waldon of Salem, Corrine Mosher
of
Salem, and Destiny Palmer of Salem; Brother: Bobby Wayne Johnson
of Lyons; sister Doris Page of Texarkana, TX.;
4 – grandsons, 3 – granddaughters, and 1
great-granddaughter.
Graveside
services will be 11:30am on Friday,
December 9th, 2011 at
Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Serving the family, North
Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
