Idanha, –
Ralph, 88, died Sunday in Idanha. He was born in Cardston,
Alberta, Canada. Ralph lived in Vancouver, WA. for over 30 years
until moving to Idanha. 16 years ago. He served in the US Army
during WWII. Ralph worked as a carpenter for many years, and later
retired after 22 from Bonneville Power as Construction Rep. He was
a member of the American Legion, VFW, Moose Lodge and Masons.
Ralph married Camilla
“Paula” Bowers on May 1, 1976 in Reno, NV. He is survived by
his wife: Paula of Idanha; children: Floyd Scott and Sharon
Chipman both of Vancouver, WA.; step-children: Dan Bowers of
Vancouver, WA. and Teena Bowers of Aumsville; sisters: Connie Royo
and Peggy Lewis both of California; grandchildren–14;
great-grandchildren-12; great-great-grandchildren-5.
Graveside services will
be held Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 2:00pm at Evergreen Memorial
Gardens in Vancouver, WA. Serving the family, North
Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
