Joe Zutman
July 17, 1950 – February 21, 2011

Scio – Joe, 60, died Monday, February 21 in Scio. He was born in Walsenburg, CO. Joe grew up in Colorado, living in California, Oregon, and Colorado before moving to Scio 12 years ago. He worked as a metallurgical engineer for over 30 years. Joe was a member of Mt. Pleasant Community Church. He was an avid fly fisherman. Joe married Diane Getz on August 9, 1975 in Palo Alto, CA.

He is survived by his wife: Diane of Scio; sons: Adam and Brian Zutman of Arvada, CO.; parents Louis and Elizabeth Zutman of North Glenn, CO.; brother: John Zutman of Grand Junction, CO.; and sister: Barbara Hoelscher of Arvada, CO.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 5:00 pm at Mt. Pleasant Community Church, Scio. Contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Community Church. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
