Aumsville – Bob, 83,
died September 13 in Aumsville, after being diagnosed with cancer
in 1994. He was born in Ajo, AZ. Bob served in the US Air Force.
He was a farmer raising pole and bush beans, corn, strawberries,
raspberries and wheat for many processing plants including Norpac.
Bob was a member of the
A.F.A.M. Mason’s Jefferson Lodge #33 and served as Past Master,
and also the Good Sam Club. He was a history buff and enjoyed
traveling, fishing, hunting, motorcycle trail riding, vegetable
gardening, and reading.
Bob is survived by his
wife: Dorris (Clark) Karg, of Aumsville, whom he married November
30, 1972; sister: Mary (Bovelle) Sackett of Edmonds, WA.; nieces:
Jacquelyn Trombley of Wareham, MA., and Chere Marceau of Yuma,
AZ.; grandnieces: Shele and Christen; grandnephew: Kelly; adult
children by marriage: Dee Frizado of Aumsville and Lucretia
Crosiar of Turner; grandchildren: Steven, Jenny, Robert Jr., Isaac
and Bethany; 4- great grandnieces and nephews and 3 –
great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents, Pete and
Ina Karg and brother Harold “Bill” Clark.
Friday, September 21 at 11:00 am at Lone Oak Cemetery, Stayton,
with memorial service at 2:00 pm at North Santiam Funeral Chapel
in Stayton. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society
and Humane Society. Special thanks to Doctors John Strother and
Alan Hay, staff with Hematology and Oncology of Oregon and Odyssey
