Lebanon
– Eddie May, 72, died Tuesday in Lebanon. She was born in Alma,
AR., moving to Stayton in 1969 from California, moving back to
California in 1990 and then to Lebanon in 2000. Eddie May worked
as a cook for 20 years at Marian Estates in Sublimity. She enjoyed
shopping, bingo, camping, and playing games.
Eddie
May was the greatest daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother to all and was very protective of her family.
She married Ernest Lane on September 20, 1967 in Woodlake, CA., he
preceded her in death on February 12, 1969.

May is survived by children: Sue Bales of Sublimity, Larry Gunn of
Stayton, Donna (Daniel) Lackner of Stayton and Sheila Hendricks of
Lebanon; sisters: Betty Aultman of Sublimity, Barbara (Larry)
Rodriguez of Albany, Earlene Cox of Los Osos, CA., and Debby Lynn
(Ken) Phillips of Corcoran, CA.; grandchildren: Angie (Jason)
Kelly, April (Cole) Humphreys, Corina (Sabino) Corona, Aften Gunn,
Salina Hall, Whitney (Tory Reed) Hendricks, Taylor Lackner and
Ashley Gunn; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Alexa, Jaymz, Caitlin,
Sadie, Amanda, Samantha, Savannah, Sabino, Eyzaak and JJ. She was
preceded in death by one son Ernie Gunn in 1978.
Visitation
will be Friday, January 6, 2012 from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
followed by funeral service at 1:00 pm at North Santiam Funeral
Sevice in Stayton. Interment will be in Lone Oak Cemetery in
Stayton. A celebration of life will follow at the Moose lodge in
