Bruno “Buster” M. Luckini
June 14, 1919 – February 23, 2012

Scio – Buster, 92, died February 23 in Vancouver, WA. He was born in Tovey, IL., growing up in Illinois and New Mexico, living in Colorado then moving to Scio in 1962. Buster served in the US Army Corps of Engineers during WWII. Buster farmed all of his life. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and chasing cattle. Buster was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Scio and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Jordan. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jane in 1959.

Buster is survived by his son: Greg (CheChe) Luckini of Ridgefield, WA.; brother: Gino (Darlene) Luckini of Scio; granddaughters: Laura (Brian)  Culver of Everett, WA., and Lisa (John) Luraghi of Marysville, WA.; great-grandchildren; Alana, Tarina & Devin Culver and Ellie Mae Luraghi.

Memorial service will be Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm at North Santiam Funeral Chapel in Stayton. Private interment in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Jordan. Contributions may be made to Hospice Southwest 100 East 33rd Street, Suite 201 PO Box 1600 Vancouver, WA 98663. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
