Stayton – Ellie, 78,
died January 28 in Stayton. She was born in Alamosa, CO., and
moved to Mill City in 1947, living there and in Stayton since.
Ellie worked at the Star Theatre in Stayton and later went into
accounting, working for Gene Teague, John Lucas, an accounting
firm in Lebanon and finally for the State of Oregon for the last
She enjoyed fishing,
camping, crocheting, knitting, ceramics, cooking, playing cards,
and being a second Mom to kids in Stayton. Ellie was a member of
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Elks, Eagles and Good Sam
Club. She married Richard “Boedie” Boedigheimer on July 25,
1953 in Mill City, he preceded her in death on December 24, 2001.
Ellie is survived by
children: Raymond Boedigheimer of Lyons, Todd Boedigheimer of Mill
City, Jodi Hinkley of Stayton, and Annie Beaumont and husband
Shawn “Bufrd” Beaumont of Lyons; sisters: Phyllis Kramer in
Camas, WA., and Ila Mae (Dean) Bateman of Newport; grandchildren:
Richard & Nichole Boedigheimer, Christina & BoeDon Hinkley,
Savanna Fields-Boedigheimer and Alexis Beaumont.
Mass of Christian Burial
will be Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11:00 am at Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church in Stayton. Contributions may be made
to American Heart Association or Oregon Humane Society. Serving
