Salem – Clyde, 84,
died July 21 in Sublimity. He was born in Arkansas and lived
in California until moving to St. Helens in 1968, living in
Portland and Beaverton until settling in Salem in 1996. Clyde
served in the US Army. He was a house painter for over 40
years. Clyde was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He enjoyed remote control airplanes.
Clyde is survived by
his wife, whom he married in Tualatin on February 27, 1993,
Lois of Colton; children: Doug Prince of Gladstone, Larry
Prince of Texas, Steve Prince of California, Sue Esperini of
Canby, Galon Prince of Aumsville and Beverley Laabs of
Aumsville; sister: Joyce Smith of California; 12 grandchildren
and numerous great-grandchildren.
