Lillian M. Stutheit

May 6, 1924 – March 21, 2013

Sublimity – Lillian, 88, died, March 21 in Stayton. She was born in Warren, MN., living in Idaho until moving to Turner in 1960 and to Sublimity 4 months ago. Lillian was a life member of the Oregon Hunter’s Association. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and the outdoors. Lillian was the “Queen of Quilts” and every other craft and hobby. She married Richard L. Stutheit in 1948, he preceded her in death in 1998.

Lillian is survived by sons: Richard (Gwen) Stutheit of Sublimity and Don (Sherrie) Stutheit of Kona, HI.; son-in-law: Bill Holsclaw of Sublimity; grandchildren: Cameron Stutheit, Coel Stutheit, Dale Holsclaw, Willy Holsclaw and Samantha Siggins; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Nina Holsclaw.

A memorial service will be on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 11:30 am at North Santiam Funeral Chapel in Stayton. Private interment in Lone Oak Cemetery, Stayton. Contributions may be made to the Oregon Hunter Association, Capital Chapter  581 Lancaster Dr. SE #342 Salem, OR. 97317. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
