Judith K. Bogle

Judith (Judy), 75, died March 11 in Tillamook. She was born in Seaside, Oregon to E. Edward and Beatrice Willener, and grew up in Roseburg, Oregon and Santa Barbara, CA. She married William John Bogle Jr. (Bill) in Santa Barbara on June 30, 1956.  There they began their family before moving to Mill City, OR in 1970.  In 1999 she retired to Cape Meares, OR, then in 2000 to Tillamook.

Judy worked as a City Recorder for many cities including Mill City and Hubbard, and in several governmental agencies. She retired from the State Administrative Services Division in 1996. Judy never slowed down. In retirement she worked as a volunteer Certified Ombudsman for long term care facilities in Tillamook County. She was an artist doing many oil paintings which are hung on the walls of family and friends across the country.  She was an avid reader and a champion skeet shooter. Judy enjoyed yard sales, collecting music boxes, giraffes and Yosemite Sams and she had a keen sense of interior decor and design. Above all, she was faithful and devout woman, a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

She and her husband traveled the US in their motor-home and later traveled around the world. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Tillamook, Gates Community Church in Gates and Mary Martha Circle in Gates, and the Red Hat Society of Tillamook.

Judith is survived by daughters: Karen (Tim) Widmer of Gates and Mary (Hank) Wujcik of Aumsville; sister: Janet Willener of Seaside; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill on November 24, 2006 and also by her parents: E. Edward & Beatrice Willener, sons: William J. Bogle III and James Bogle.

Graveside service will be Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Fairview Cemetery in Gates and a Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 pm at Gates Community Church.
