City - Christopher
Finley Wallace died on September 6, 2014 as the result of a
car accident. He was born September 11, 1950 to George and
Emily Wallace, in Milwaukee, WI. His family moved to Oregon,
WI., where he
graduated from Oregon High school in 1969. He moved to Oregon
state in the early 70's, meeting his first wife, Opal Letsom.
The couple met at his grandfather’s Gas station in
Fruitland. They married in 1975, and had 2 sons Tony and
Brian. They divorced in 1977.
Christopher had another son, Christopher and a daughter
Michelle in 1983, with common law wife Kathy Humphrey. In
1986, Christopher met the love of his life Sherrie Summers of
Turner. They married in 2001. The couple lived in Aumsville
where they raised 2 children, a daughter Amanda and a son
Michael. The couple moved to Salem in 2000, where they lived
until Sherries passing in 2006. Since then Christopher lived
with his daughter Amanda and her family in Mill City.

Christopher was an avid sports fan, and a die-hard Blazers
fan. He also enjoyed rock hounding and hunting arrow heads in
his spare time.
is preceded in death by both wives Opal and Sherrie and his
parents. He is survived by brothers: George Wallace of
Cedartown GA., James Wallace of Oregon, WI., John Wallace of
Brooklyn WI., sister: Jane Hooper of Portland, sons: Tony
Letsom of Albany, Brian Wallace of Mill City., Christopher
Humphrey of Pendleton, Michael Summers of Salem, daughters:
Amanda Hakanson of Mill City, and Michelle Humphrey of Pilot
Rock; grandchildren: Genevieve, JD and Ava Hakanson of Mill
City, and Courtney Anderson of Ontario, and 5
service to be held at the North Santiam Funeral Service
Chapel in Stayton on September
13, 2014 at 5 pm with
reception to follow at Amanda's home in Mill City. Serving the
