Lois “June” Namitz
June 1, 1933 – September 19, 2015 

Lyons – Lois “June”, 82, died Saturday, September 19 at Mt. Creek Care Home in Stayton. She was born in Gales Creek, Oregon. Lois “June” met Kenneth Namitz Sr. “Boogie” and they married on August 28, 1952.  They settled in Lyons and raised their five boys. In the early years, she worked at the Lyons Store. She later worked for Western Security Bank which became Key Bank until she retired. She enjoyed reading, painting and crocheting.

Lois “June” is survived by sons: Ken (Cherri) Namitz of Lyons, Mike (Kathie) Namitz of Shaw, Scott (Sheryl) Namitz of Lyons, Kelly (Leslie) Namitz of Lyons and Casey ( Kelly) Namitz of Lyons; brother: Eugene “Buck” Scofield of Albany; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “Boogie” on June 6, 2008.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26 at 11:00 am at Fox Valley Cemetery, with reception following services at St. Patrick’s Hall in Lyons.

The family would like to express an abundance of gratitude to the staff at Mt. Creek Care Home for the compassionate care they gave Lois “June”. Serving the family North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
