Dalbert T. Dalke
January 16, 1932 – January 8, 2016

Aumsville – Dalbert, 83, died January 8 in Salem. He was born in Swegle and lived all of his life in the Aumsville area. Dalbert was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus (St. Anthony Council) and Teamsters local union #670. He worked for over thirty years at Norpac, retiring as a supervisor.

Dalbert married Patsy “Pat” Graves on February 5, 1954 in Turner, she preceded him on December 23, 2014. He enjoyed woodworking, yardwork, traveling and was an avid reader. Dalbert could build and repair anything and even built his own home. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include: children: Sandi (Gary) Walker of Keizer, Michael Dalke of Salem, Paul Dalke of Dallas, Joel (Korrina) Dalke of Olympia, WA and Eric (Melinda) Dalke of Lebanon; sisters: Luella Rosenbalm of Creswell, Dorothy Nichol of Eugene and Bonnie Boyd of Coos Bay; and grandchildren: Brett, Jeffrey, Matthew and Kamryn. Dalbert was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 12:00 noon at St. Mary Cemetery in Stayton. Contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus Charities. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
