Shirley R. Bradley
September 8, 1934 – November 21, 2017

Mill City – Shirley, 83, died November 21 in Silverton. She was born in North Miami, OK, moving to Carlton in 1944 to Lebanon in 1957 to Stayton in 1962 and settling in Mill City in 1964. Shirley worked as a cook and waitress for 40 years, working at Grants Café in Mill City, Marion Forks Restaurant, Mill City School, Marian Estates and many restaurants. She married Marshall “Bud” Bradley on April 24, 1952 in Vancouver, WA, he preceded her in death on March 16, 2003. Shirley was a member of Santiam Chapel in Lyons. She enjoyed family and was very involved in the church. Shirley worked with the youth at church and was also a camp counselor during the summer.

She is survived by children: LaDonna (Lee) Stafford of Clackamas, Jackie (Roger) Ely of Lampe, MO and Kandis (Marvin) Botts of Port Richey, FL; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her brothers, Don and Gene Martin.

A memorial service will be Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Santiam Chapel in Lyons. Private interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mill City. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Santiam Chapel Church in Lyons. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
