- Edgar,70, passed into the next life on April 19, 2017 with
his loved ones and friends surrounding him. Ed was born
September 21, 1946 in St. Ignatius, MT, to Floyd and Naida
(Pierce) Hudson. Ed was a very humble and gentle man.
Everyone who knew him would instantly feel his gentle
spirit. He was an extremely hard worker and would always give 110%
into any task he took on for others.
enjoyed the great outdoors and spent much of his “growing up
years” hiking his beautiful Mission Range mountains of
especially enjoyed working and living on a ranch while
attending a portion of high school.
He milked cows, herded cattle, bucked hay, chopped
wood, built fence, etc. He served a building mission for The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in northern Utah.
As an adult, he was a Redi-mix driver, which he loved. He was
quite the gardener. He’d say, “Only two things money
can’t buy and that’s true love and homegrown tomatoes!”
loved serving in the Boys Scouts and many other positions for
church. He really enjoyed singing in the choir and playing his
harmonica. In later years, he became a ham radio operator and
enjoyed learning new things. He was extremely patriotic to his
country. He will
be missed by all that knew him and loved him.
survived by his wife, Ramona (whom he called, Beautiful), his
daughter Ember (Jason) Tonge, three grandchildren, Mason,
Gavin, and McKynna “Pookie”, his four beautiful and loving
sisters, nieces, nephews and many, many loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and
brother’s Carl and Lavar.
will be Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11am at the LDS Church,
1400 Western Ave, Stayton, OR.
His body will be laid to rest at the Aumsville
Cemetery. Serving the family, North
