Raymond L. “Ray” Boedigheimer
January 5, 1954 – February 21, 2018

Stayton – Raymond, 64, died February 21 in Stayton. He was born in Salem to Richard and Elnora Boedigheimer and lived all of his life in the Willamette Valley. Ray worked as a mill worker for many years. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and picking mushrooms. Raymond’s dog Boogie was his best friend.

He is survived by his children: Richard Boedigheimer of Gates and Nicole “Nikki” Boedigheimer of Seattle, WA; granddaughter: Jossellyn Kay Boedigheimer of Gates; brother: Todd Boedigheimer of Mill City; sisters: Jodi Hinkley of Scio and Annie (Shawn) Boedigheimer-Beaumont of Lyons; nieces and nephew: Christiana Hinkley of Salem, BoeDon Hinkley of Stayton, Savanna Boedigheimer of Oregon City and Alexis Beaumont of Lyons; aunts: Ila Mae (Dean) Bateman of Newport and Phyllis Kramer of Camas, WA. Ray was preceded in death by his parents.

A potluck Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Mehama Community Church in Mehama. Contributions may be made to the humane society or the Stayton High School softball program. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
