Mary Adeline (Ruest) Bryant

January 16, 1932 July 14, 2018

Mary was born to Simon & Flossie Ruest, in Beattie, Kansas, where she lived until the age of 8 years old. Her family then moved to Hopewell, Oregon, where she lived until she graduated high school. She had 9 siblings. She married Benjamin Bryant in 1949, at the age of 17. They moved to Medford, Oregon, after getting married and then later lived in Scio, Stayton, Sublimity & finally Dallas, Oregon.

Mary worked for Norpac in Stayton, as a Floor Lady (Supervisor) for 18 years before she retired. During retirement Mary enjoyed oil painting, reading, crafts, fishing and spending time with her family. Mary was a long-time member of The Church of God of Prophecy and then Zion Assembly Church of God. She loved Jesus with her whole heart and loved her family, 4 children, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews & great-nieces/nephews, very, very much.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ben, in 2011, and by all 9 of her siblings. She is survived by sons, Roger of Dallas, Or., Phillip of Monmouth, Or., Kerry (Cindy) of Arlington, Or., daughter, Brenda of Turner, Or., 4 grandsons & 3 granddaughters. She will be greatly missed by all!

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 11th, 2018, at 11am at The Church of God of Prophecy, 10637 Stayton Rd. SE, Aumsville, Or. 97325. Contributions may be made in her honor to the Salvation Army.
