Franklin “Dean” Guild
November 3, 1936 – January 16, 2018

Salem – Dean, 81, died January 16 in Salem. He was born November 3, 1936 in Lincoln, NE. Dean served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He married Judith Parkins on April 28, 1965 in Tillamook. Dean worked as a barber and maintenance man. He also owned and operated Tip Top Grocery store in Turner for 8 years and drove school bus for Cascade School District for 8 years. Dean enjoyed Cushman scooters and was a Nebraska Cornhusker football fan.

He is survived by his wife: Judith “Judy” Guild of Salem; children: Samual Guild of Puyallup, WA, Melody McDougal of Salem and Terri Kramer of Forest Grove; and 11 grandchildren. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Sunny, and son, Daniel.

Graveside services will be Friday, February 2, 2018 at 12:30 pm at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
