Darrell K. Huffer
December 10, 1959 – November 7, 2018

Aumsville – Darrell, 58, died November 7 in Salem. He was born in Billings, MT and grew up there until moving to Oregon in 1972, living in the Willamette valley including a few years in Montana and Alaska during that time. At the age of 25, Darrell went to truck driving school, spending the next 34 years driving truck. He drove log truck and long haul and eventually owned his own truck. Darrell enjoyed dancing and was obsessed with fried chicken, as anyone that followed behind his truck would know, by the chicken bones being tossed out the window. He loved gaming on the computer and was part of the “Amigos” group on War Commander. Darrell was a member of the Elks and Eagles. He married Debi Taylor on September 2, 1989 in Reno, NV.

Darrell is survived by his wife: Debi of Aumsville; children: Shawn Taylor of Aumsville, Leland Yung of Cheyenne, WY, Michele Flath of Corvallis, Donald Huffer of Stayton, Bobbie Jo Deckard of Keizer, Samantha Curtis of Jefferson and Tabitha Huffer of Lyons; 20 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

No service will be held at his request. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
