Cecelia Mary Pischke Miotke

August 15, 1922 – December 11, 2018

Stayton – Cecelia, 96, passed away Tuesday, December 11 at Elmcroft (formerly Brookdale) Assisted Living in Stayton. She was born in Grenville, SD, one of eight children. Cecelia married William Miotke on June 3, 1947 and lived in Grenville until they moved to Bethany, OK in 1953 and in 1961 they moved to Oregon. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Women’s Altar Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Cecelia’s hobbies included crocheting, reading, gardening and doing puzzles.

She is survived by, daughters: Donna (Jim) Sizemore of Springdale, AR, and Karen (Jim) Rambousek of Houston, TX; son: Keith (Eileen) Miotke of Eugene; grandchildren: Michele, Marcy, Michael, Jennifer, Jessica and Meredith; and great-grandchildren: Kayla, Braden, Alexis, John, Ethan and Elliot. Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband, granddaughter Jaime and 7 brothers and sisters.

Recitation of Rosary will be at 10:00 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am both at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sublimity on Friday, December 28, 2018. Graveside service will follow immediately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
