Darlene Ann Nash

, 1945 – March 7, 2018

Salem – Darlene, 72, died March 7, 2018 in Salem. She was born April 21, 1945 in Missoula, MT, and lived over 40 years in Aumsville. Darlene married Darin Nash on February 14, 1976 in Salem, he preceded her in death on May 4, 1986.

Darlene’s passion was her horses.  After competing earlier in her life she provided riding lessons for students in various riding styles and jumping.  She also trained horses for pleasure riding, jumping and pre-race training.  Darlene worked as a school bus driver for over 20 years, also driving for Cherriots Lift. Darlene loved dogs, was an avid reader, liked watching westerns and old movies, and enjoyed wine.

Darlene is survived by brothers: David Deisner of Junction City, Richard (Tonya) Deisner of Tigard and Robert (Patricia) Deisner of Beaverton; sisters: Michele Bradley of Eugene and Vadette Deisner of Orange, CA; 4 nieces and 3 nephews.

An open house service will be Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 1-3 pm at Anthony Hall 11758 Sublimity Rd SE Sublimity. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
