Patricia Ann Rochetto
December 20, 1942 – April 12, 2019

Patricia, age 76, of Stayton, loving wife, mother, sister and nana, passed away peacefully at Santiam Hospital on April 12, 2019 after a short battle with RSV pneumonia.  She was born in the small town of Princeton, IL on December 20, 1942 to Franklin & Helen (Gellerman) Trimmer. She met her husband, Peter, at Happy’s Super Service Gas station at the age of 13, but they wouldn’t see each other again for two years until Peter was home from the Navy. They were married in Spring Valley, IL on May 21, 1960.

Patricia enjoyed motherhood and she and Peter and their four children lived in Geneseo, IL. Their family moved to Stayton, OR in June of 1973. She loved to cook and many times her family enjoyed her made-to-order meals. She loved to sing in private and even sang a few times as a Lounge Singer at the River View Inn in Mehama. She was passionate about helping others and worked at the Canyon Crisis Center in Mill City.  Her life was a living example of the love of God, whom she remained continuously faithful. Patricia always saw the best in people and would make sure they also believed in themselves.

Patricia’s love, devotion, and passion were for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She spent many years helping care for her grandchildren, watching them grow. She loved to teach them to cook and would share her secret recipes. Sometimes she spent all day with her grandchildren making homemade pasta and chicken noodle soup, and on special occasions making sugar cookies and decorating them.  She and Peter went on many motorhome trips to the coast and Central Oregon.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Peter; her sister, Judy Thompson of Spring Valley, IL; her brother, Ronald Trimmer of Illinois; her son, Larry Rochetto of Stayton, OR; her daughter Laura (& Brunk) Conley of Stayton/LaPine, OR; her son, Roger Rochetto of Houston, TX; her son Richard (& Tamra) Rochetto of Salem, OR and 10 grandchildren; Christianna Henkel, Brunk V. Conley, Nicholas (& Tasha) Conley, Jacob Conley, Zachary Conley, Alexandria Rochetto, Lucas Conley, Logan Rochetto, Ashley Rochetto, Katrina Rochetto, and four great-grandchildren; Ella Kate, Riley C., Riley M., and Skyler.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rose Marie McCreary.

There will be a family Celebration of Life on Easter Sunday. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Canyon Crisis & Resource Center in Mill City, OR @ Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
