Ralph “Bob” Bonillas

Stayton – Bob Bonillas passed away at home in Stayton. His parents, Leandro and Helen were married in San Antonio, Texas where Ralph was born in July of 1947. He attended Potrero Elementary and Rosemead High School where he graduated a year early. Bob had some college and studied to become a truck driver, mechanic and an electrician. He also took additional training as a diesel mechanic specializing in Cummins.

Bob married Elizabeth Graham in Lodi, CA on October 3, 1986 and became a father to her daughter Dalhia and son Lucky Graham. Bob spent some time with the Moose Lodge and enjoyed memberships in gun clubs and rifle ranges. He loved spending time with friends and family, camping, fishing, teasing his children and grand-daughters and riding motorcycles. Bob also loved helping others by collecting and rebuilding bicycles for those in need and working for various food banks.

He is preceded in death by his sister: Mary Hand of Fortuna, California; Bob is survived by his brother: Bill (Lang) of Miranda, California; by his wife: Elizabeth Bonillas of Stayton; Sons: Bobby (Ruby) Bonillas of Covina, California and Lucky (Julia) Graham of Sacramento, California; Daughter: Dahlia Wilcoxon of Aumsville; Step-daughter: Sandra Corsi of Austin,Texas; His grand-children: Teresa and Brianna Bonilla’s, Kirsten and Jesse Wilcoxon, and Courtland Graham; Niece and Nephew, Kenneth and Amy.

A celebration of life potluck is planned for August 9, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the family home. Contributions can be made to Stayton Food Bank. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
