Robert Albert Lockwood Jr.
October 15, 1957 – June 15, 2020

Turner – Robert, 62, passed away. He was born in El Paso, Texas to Robert and Evonne Lockwood. His parents were married in Durand, Wisconsin. Robert lived in Durand, Wisconsin, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and Turner, Oregon. Robert joined the United States Navy training to be a boiler technician on the USS Goldsboro. He completed bootcamp in Great Lakes, Illinois. He was honorably discharged in 1977. Robert earned his GED from the Veteran’s Upward Bound Program in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

Robert married Seraphine Rasmussen in October of 1984. He has four children, two born in Minnesota and two born in Oregon. He has lived in Oregon for 36 years. Robert’s hobbies included playing the harmonica in a few bands, fishing and crabbing, biking and walking.

He is survived by his wife: Sera Lockwood of Turner; his mother: Evonne (Wally) Greven of Salem; his brothers: Richard Lockwood of Salem and Ron Lockwood of Madras; his sisters: Robyn Hibbard of North Carolina and Rochelle Fishel of Oregon City; his step-sisters: Chrissy Cochrane of New Zealand and Anna Jordan of Astoria; his sister-in-law Kelly Dredge Arbuckle of Minnesota, his children: Fahlene Lockwood of Independence; Charlene Lockwood of North Plains, Robert Lockwood III of Turner; and Jeremiah Lockwood of Turner; his grandchildren: William Lockwood of Independence and Samuel River Lockwood of North Plains.

Robert will be placed to rest at Willamette National Cemetery. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
