Jefferson-
Darrel passed away at his home from heart disease on January
7, 2021. Born December 2, 1956 and preceded in death by his
parents Wayne and Myrna Turner. Raised in Roseburg, OR with
his three siblings, Darrel was a state champion wrestler at
Roseburg High school before going on to wrestle for Oregon
State University. An avid outdoorsman with a passion for
training his dogs, fishing, and hunting. He took pride in
imparting his knowledge onto his children and was a devoted
papa to his grandchildren. Darrel made his home in Keizer
working in juvenile corrections before a transition to
hospitality management.
He leaves behind his six children:
Jason Batz-Bollman, Mitch Myers, Barry Evans, Seth Bollman,
Sandra (Ryan) Kowolik, and Hannah Bollman of Oregon. His
grandchildren: Kailyn and Avery Bollman-Lechner and Kadence,
Noah, and Cooper Kowolik. Siblings are Hal (Diane) Bollman
of California, Phyllis Bollman, and Marc Bollman of
Washington.
Darrel’s
legacy will be his love of the outdoors, his love for his
family, and the lessons he’s left behind for us to
remember.
Services
to be held at a later date. Contributions can be made in his
name to Hopes Haven dog rescue. Serving the family, North
