Anne Higuera Clark
August 28, 1923 March 25, 2021

Stayton Anne passed away surrounded by family in Albany. Anne was born in Tolleson, AZ, one of eleven children born to Charles and Pauline Higuera.   After high school, she entered the United States Marine Corps, serving during WWII.   PFC Anne was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC, assigned to the post office.  She married Donald L. Clark in 1952 and raised four children.  After moving to Oregon, she worked for the PUC as a manager until her retirement.  Her husband, Don, sadly passed away in 2012 after 59 years of marriage. Anne was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Her hobbies included a love for gardening and spending time with extended family.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband: Donald L. Clark; daughter, Diane Rae Clark; and grandson; Jeremy Clark Gries. She is survived by her children: Christine (Gary) Gries of Stayton; David Clark (Kristi DuBois) of Salem; Laurie (Larry) Andren of Puyallup, WA; and Carol (Doug) Smith of Prineville; grandchildren: Rachel Gries of Stayton; Kyra Gries of Salem; Justin (Ashley) Smith of Prineville; Cody (Kara) Smith of Bend; Zach (Cassett) Smith of Prineville; and 2 great -grandchildren, Jenson and Quinn Smith.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Willamette National Cemetery April 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
