Exalted Rulers Message

First off let me say thanks to all of you that helped out at the fairgrounds on Central's 50th class reunion. We couldn't have done it without everyone's help. Pat yourself on the back, and again, thanks!
I have a message for all of you that don't come down: You are really missing some great meals and fun functions! Our club manager, Sue, is always dreaming up something new, and the Lodge looks great thanks to Sue and her volunteers (you know who you are) Who are doing a fantastic job decorating for Halloween. Take a moment and check out the calender  then come down and join us.
I'd like to thank Jack McElravy for accepting the Lecturing Knight Position for the remainer of the year. Your support as an officer and member will be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all the P.E.R.'s and Dan Lowe for filling the chair positions that have been vacated so far this year. I'd like to wish John Hatch the best of luck. Due to personal reasons John had to resign his position as Exalted Ruler.
We could use some good people to step forward and fill teh chair positions that have become vacant. On behalf of the officers and members of the lodge I'd like to take this opportunity to the Jack Moothart for generously donating hit time, twice by servis as a Trustee for our Lodge. Our thoughts are with you.

Gary Winkler, Exalted Ruler

the September "Back to School" Potluck was a blast. the school pirture contest was very difficult. Ron Haener came in first place and won a singing fish!
Karaoke will be back at the Lodge on October 13th from 7:30p.m.to11:30p.m. and on Saturday, October 20th, we will be trying a new musical group; "the Ultimates". Come down, give them a listen and a dance. If you like them we willl have them vack again to entertain us. We will still, of course have Dave Upton on October 6th and 28th, and then every other Friday beginning in November.
Sunday, October 15th we will be having a "Potluck Pinata". We're going to make pinatas for teh Halloween parties. Come and join the fun.
Check out the calender for October's meals, then give us a try.

Sue Bethell, Club Manager

We would like to thank everyone who has taken part in our birthday parties espceially Sue, who not only volunteered us for this job but also has shown great support. We want all to know that our games and contests are for both members and non-members to enjoy, not just those with birthdays of the month. Also, the birthdays of "significant others" are included in our birthdays-of -the month festivites!
