Honor

By: JD Hoeye

I'd offered my honor,
She'd honored my offer,
To jump on'er
and off'er.

But the offer she honor'd
Was my offer to honor,
Her honor
as off'er I stayed.

The honor I'd offered,
As I honored her honor,
She honored
by doffing her honor.

At once I was on'er,
Then off'er and On'er
so often
my honor was paid.

The girl took my honor
To honor her honor
And honored
my offer to play.

I'd learned a fine lesson,
And thanked her quite often,
As on'er
she liked how I played.

The woman's still living,
And I'm still giving,
The honor
she honestly craved.
