When
you come to our theatre you will be greeted with a smiling
face and feel welcome and comfortable. We go above and beyond
what a cineplex will do. We care about the customer, not how
many tickets we sell and how much money we could make at the
concessions.
We
re-opened the 1949 theatre to prevent it from being turned
into an office building. The older charming theatres of yesterday
are disappearing across the country. The face to face hospitality
is a thing of the past.
We're
trying to save the 'good-ole' days atmosphere by providing
an affordable night at the movies. We're keeping the older
traditions alive. We're keeping the ticket and concession
prices low so there is no need to sneak food in and feel guilty
as you would have to do at a cineplex because it is just too
costly.
We're
also utilizing our theatre for other events, such as showing
classic movies at various times throughout the year. Not many
of us had the pleasure to see the classics on the big screen.
We're bringing those back to life for the young and young
at heart. There is so much more in the movie that you miss
on the small television.
Check
out our other website for information on what we have to offer
when the theatre isn't showing movies at starcinevent.net.
We rent
our auditorium for birthday parties, business functions, family
functions, church functions, weddings, graduations and more!
We are
open seven days a week to fit everyone's schedule. We will
continue to schedule more events and open more movies on opening
day!
If you
haven't experienced the Star Cinema lately, you are missing
a piece of history that is hard to find these days. We promise
you'll come back for movies, music and more!
Thank
you for your continued support!
