Jesus Christ himself is our salvation, he is the only one who can say come follow me. Salvation isn't found in the bible, theologians, worship songs, or a Sunday service. It is found the same way peter found it---he answered the call of " come follow me." He left everything that day---at once the left their nets and followed him.----- and that was the beginning of his salvation. It did not start with memorized scripture or the correct set of doctrinal beliefs, but that he believed in the one who he said to "you alone have the words of life, where else shall we go." With all Peter's mistakes he believed in Christ and that was all that was needed. It is time to drop our nets and put our faith in Jesus Christ he alone holds the word of life where else will we go?
