God's Storehouse is a Spiritual Storehouse

God is spirit, therefore everything he owns is spiritual.
Malachi 3:10 "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there will be food in My house." This house is spiritual.

Jesus said, "store up for yourselves treasures in heaven." (Matthew 6:20) Heaven is a spiritual reality, more real than earthly things. The only spiritual thing here on earth, that will be in heaven is people. God's spiritual storehouse is people.

People are the only treasures that we can invest (store) into that we will have as treasures in heaven. Since everyone will know God from the least to the greatest, we no longer need Levites to administrate the charitable gifts, because when taught by the Lord every person will know to whom and what they should invest (store up into). The account of Christians bringing their charitable gifts before the apostles feet, was and is a shadow of things to come. They (the Jews) were accustomed to do so. Now however since everyone will know in their heart who and what to give (invest, store) there is no need for an overseer to decide. This then eliminates the temptations and possibility for a board or overseer to become greedy and to lord it over people.
Those who are called to teach, and are imparting and instructing people in the truth, should teach this.

Everyone who has any need should with a thankful heart, make their needs known (literally) to God, Who already knows them. He wants us to glorify Him by humbly admitting our need and asking Him. Then only as instructed by the Lord as the opportunity arises share our needs with friends who care enough to ask.
Everyone should be willing to invest in heavenly treasure, (since we have freely received all spiritual blessing.) So our loving duty towards our neighbor (anybody within any reachable distance) as prompted by the Lord, should take an interest and give a listening ear to their needs and joyfully, willingly give of our assets, no matter how big the need.

Faith, hope, and love are the greatest assets. These three assets are made real life experiences in others when we give of ourselves. These three are the flesh and blood of the Word of God, which is the Holy Spirit of Christ in us. And God's Word will not come back void, it will accomplish what it is supposed to do.
