Aumsville
- Altagracia “Grace” (Perez)
Garcia - peacefully went to sleep in death on February 2,
2021 at her home in Aumsville, Oregon surrounded by her
many loved ones. She was born in Durango, Mexico,
but grew up in Chihuahua, Mexico. She was number 5 of
9 children. She moved to Texas where she met and married
Reynaldo S. Arrebollo and together they raised 11
children in Sahuarita, Arizona. She later met and married
Luis Carlos Garcia and they made their home in
Aumsville where they lived for over thirty years. She was a
serious student of the Bible and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s
Witness on May 3, 1980. She spent much of her time
volunteering in a Bible education work. It brought her
much joy and beautiful memories of her ministry. Altagracia
was dearly loved by her family and friends.
She is survived
by her husband: Luis Carlos; her children Sylvia Garcia
(George), Mary Ellen Arrebollo, Ray Arrebollo (Cindy), Luis Arrebollo (Brenda),
Victor Arrebollo (Rosalind) Maria Lourdes Gortarez (Manuel),
Eleazar Arrebollo (Susan), Eva Dodd (Mark), Elizabeth
Russell (Stephanie), Gilbert Arrebollo (Pauline), Albert
Arrebollo (Nikki); 21 grandchildren and many
great-grandchildren.
Crocheting was her passion but
gardening flowers and veggies was a close second. Always something to eat when people dropped in and
never arrived empty-handed when she visited family and
friends. Our strong hope in the resurrection assures
us that we will see her again. John 5:28&29.
Memorial service in Spanish will be Saturday February 27,
2021 at 2:00 pm and in English at 3:30 pm. This service will
be available on Zoom. Serving the family, North Santiam
