The following data lists all personnel who qualified to fly the Blackbirds.  The listing is from the first person to fly the aircraft to the last person qualified.  The listing includes all RSO's and VIP's that flew in the aircraft. This original data was derived from Buddy Brown's Book and has been expanded upon by David Allison, webmaster at Habu.Org.  He has diligently researched and verified those entries contained below.  There is data missing but to our knowledge that data is currently not available from any source.  As time goes on and data becomes available, this web page will be updated.  You can search this page for a name by going to: Edit/Find in Page and entering the name of the crewmember.  This page should verify any rumors as to "The Politician who said he flew a Blackbird".

Notes:
 1 - Always listed at 26 April 1962, but one source who was there at the time and witnessed the "flight" remembers the date as April 25, as it was his brother's birthday.  Kelly Johnson himself lists April 25 in his History of OXCART paper.

2 - Listed in the original Buddy Brown book as #22, with a date of 20 February 1965, Beswick's first flight in the A-12 Trainer aircraft was 12 January 1963 with Bill Park.  All flights listed prior to August 1963 would not have been at Mach 3, but rather just the first ride in a blackbird.  Beswick's Mach 3 card signed by Kelly Johnson is #014, and was issued on 20 February 1965, when he rode in the back seat of Article 134 with Art Peterson in the front seat.

3 - Originally listed as 23 February 1967, the pilot involved has corrected this to 17 November 1966.

4 - Date of 17 Aug 1966 does not make sense, as he was the IP for Dave Dempster's first Mach 3+ flight on 19 Apr 1966.

5 - Listed as having his Mach 3+ flight on 2 August 1965.  However, he was involved in a T-38 crash on July 8 and died four days later on July 12, 1965.

6 - Listed as flight #15, the certificate held by Ray Scalise shows #7.

7 - Previously listed as William Keller, #314.  Corrected to show Richard Glen "Dick" Keller.
