Cindy and I had eaten a light snack and were just
sitting, watching the staff as they went about their duties; cleaning, washing,
mixing, cutting, so on and so forth.
Cindy mused, "I wonder what will happen to these
people when we're gone."
"Nothing, if anybody hears things like that, and my
assumption is, they do hear, and report what they heard, we'd be lucky to share
the same permanent dungeon home."
We changed the subject, then excited the kitchen on our
way to the living room.
Many of the things from the attic were still on the table
where they'd been placed. Cindy was still wearing the bodice, collar, anklets,
and bracelets she'd been dressed in the previous evening. I suggested she look
the choices over, and choose different pieces, if she wanted to.
My response to Cindy's "Why?" was, "After
you've made your choices I'm going to pack as much of this as I can to take
with us. We might be glad we have it."
When she'd made her choices I asked her to go tell the
others I wanted all the rope they could find, even the decorative stuff,
brought discreetly to me. I emphasized `Discreetly!'.
Soon, Lana, Toni, Cindy and Lavern were with in the
living room, having stripped their beds of all the silk ropes there, and
searched out an impressive array of rope and cording. Much more in fact than
I'd expected.
"Why do you want all this stuff anyway?" asked
Lana.
"The better to bind you with, my dears." I
sneered.
Lana and the others didn't know how to react to that.
In a normal voice, "Because it may be useful."
I walked to the door and inspected the hall. It was empty. "Will one of
you keep watch for anyone coming?"
The voice cracked in, "I'll let you know."
"Never mind." I told the women, "we'll be
all right."
"The better to bind you with." teased the
voice, "Really now, can't do better than that?"
"You bet," I thought, "have you checked
the two in the library?"
"In the library? OK, I'll go look."
"Tell them to hang in there, I'll be coming
soon."
"By now."
The voice was silent.
"Anybody for charades," I asked.
All four of the women looked at me like I'd lost my mind.
"Charades? Why?" Toni had spoken.
"Because, starting tomorrow, that's what we're
doing. Playing charades for our lives." The living room was very silent,
for a very long time.
I broke the silence, "I'm going to sleep for a
while, when I awaken, it will be time to leave on our tour of the towers. By
that time everything we need to do, must be done, once we begin, we cannot turn
back. I won't."
I left them there, having changed my mind about telling
them anything more about what to expect. Besides, I wanted to see how the meat
I'd left hanging was doing, and loose myself in sexual excesses with them.

I entered the library with a spring in my step. Debbie
and Tina were, pardon the pun, well hung, for a couple of women.
"What's up?" I asked as I neared their
location.
They looked down at my skirt. "Looks like
nothing." Tina replied, Debbie laughed.
"What have I done? I didn't mean to create monsters,
but it appears that I have."
"Geof isn't good at verbal banter." Debbie
commented.
"Did I come here for this?" I asked the
question aloud, "Or was it something else? You two are a hell of a pair to
draw to, it's probably easier to fill an inside straight!"
Tina noticed the irritation, "What? You're bugged
about something."
I didn't answer.
"What's come over you?" Tina persisted.
"You did." I answered.
"And hope to again, often."
I smiled at the way she'd agreed to change the subject.
"Thank you, I just need rest I guess."
"What you need, is a kick in the ass." It was
the voice.
"So kick me!" I thought.
"I can arrange for that to happen, if you'd like, or
even if you wouldn't like, just piss me off, you'll see." came the voice.
"Voice is feeling spry today, aren't you,
Voice."
"Yes, that may be, but I can see you're very
ill."
"No, I feel fine, Thank you."
"If that were true, you'd have your hands full of
something more than air."
Voice was right, Tina had seen it, I felt it, and Voice
was trying to help find out why I felt flat.
"Your right, I am bugged, but I can't seem to get a
handle on it."
"Call it stage fright. Actors know it well."
"That's it!" I shouted.
"That's what?" chorused Tina and Debbie.
"Stage fright, that's what I've got, that's what's
wrong. I finally figured it out." I was grinning ear to ear.
"That's right, just like a man, take all the
credit." said Voice.
"Thanks for the help, you're a doll."
"Compliments will get you everything. You're
welcome. Have fun now, but don't get hurt."
Voice signed off, and was gone.
"Does that mean you're nervous about Debbie and I,
the Tower Tour scheduled for tomorrow, or the evening two mile dash?"
"That's a good question. I think you've got the
problem surrounded."
Debbie activated her mouth, "Well whichever it is,
it will pass in time, and I have a great idea about how to pass the time."
I started moving furniture, while I wondered who would be
first to come over me, so to speak.
