LXI

Lana had just dispatched a messenger to the Counsel, when Tina found her alone in the hall.

"We need to talk." Tina was urgent.

"Follow me." Lana commanded and led Tina down to the store room. When they were sure they were alone Lana ordered, "Talk."

"Geof told me he saw the spy while you were talking in the living room."

"Go on."

"She's the one Lavern paired with. He told me to tell you about it, that's all. While the noise level was high when you said we stay, I saw him take Lavern, her partner, and Art out into the hall. I followed until I was sure where they were going, then came to find you. It's taken a while to catch you alone. I hope it's not to late."

"You're doing fine, but where did they go?"

"To Art's apartment."

"Thanks, you did good. Now lead the way and make a noise if you're seen, I'll follow close behind."

Tina moved towards the stairs, Lana followed by a corner.

I was worried, Tamm was playing into my lines far to quickly, "I wonder if she's leading me; maybe she saw me looking when her mask fell." I needed to take a walk, so I simply told the room, "Nature calls." and exited post haste, leaving Tamm, Lavern and Art to fend for themselves.

I walked quickly to the toilet, and found I hadn't been lying about my need, while I desperately tried to figure a way to send word to my harem, or hear from them for that matter. "Sit tight." I told myself, as I slowly exited the toilet. I cast a yearning look down the hall at the stair doors, when I saw the service door open and Lana peaked inside.

I was frozen for an instant, while Tina crossed to the attic door and disappeared through it, as the service door quietly closed. "Good girl." I thought, and returned to the library, with a spring in my step.

Art and Lavern were in desperate straits when I entered the library, with Tamm there as a third they felt they needed to include her in their conversation. Tamm was enjoying the effect she had on them while she played dumb to what was on their minds. She simply ignored me as I came in, to keep her control if she could; so she was trying to start some kind of tension in our group as a diversion.

"Much better." I announced as I stepped into the circle of chairs we occupied.

"I was wondering if you'd gotten lost." Art was a quick study.

"Only for a moment. Tamm come see the view, you'll love it from up here." Tamm was trapped, and couldn't refuse, at least not graciously. She got up complaining her feet hurt, so I scooped her into my arms, and carried her out into the hall.

"You really enjoy watching people squirm, don't you, Tamm?"

"What makes you say that?"

"The way you were refusing to leave Art and Lavern to themselves, it was obvious in their bored replies to your chatter."

I turned into what I hoped was the gallery as she stared at my face, searching for some clue.

Tamm soon noticed we were not in the hall, and looked around, her body went stiff in my arms.

"Where are you taking me?" she demanded and started to squirm in an effort to break my grip.

"To bed." I said flatly.

"I didn't ask you for sex." Her intensity was building.

"Tamm, you asked for sex when you came to this tower, are you telling me you're not honest?"

"I'll choose, who, when, and where I lay with a man, now, put me down. NOW!"

I dropped her flat on her back. She went out like a light when her head hit the floor, Tamm never had a chance. I found the cords like Tina's hanging around the canopied bed, and used them for the same purpose.

I ran to the attic and asked Tina for the restraints which should be there, they were, and Tina came down to the gallery with me. We found Tamm still laying unconscious on the floor, and quickly installed the leathers on her, then threaded the leashes. Before we left her to her devices we pinioned her hands tight to her sides, and removed her clothing.

Tina picked up the silk cords and bemused, "I guess it's a good thing you bound me the day we met and you stole me away."

We laughed at the way fortune and fate work, then remembered the reason for her even being here.

Tina was distant, deep in her own thoughts, so I let her dream for a while, and sat watching her face. She shook herself shortly, returning to herself, speaking about her thoughts.

"Why don't we take her up to the second attic? My guess is all these towers duplicate each other exactly, from what I've seen. She'll think it's a real situation and probably tell us a lot."

"I think you're right, but we should bring Lana in on what we're doing, as we've already stepped way over our line of authority."

"That's true." was all Tina said, then leaned on my chest, and began teasing my legs with her hands. The effect of her hands on my legs was almost instant, and I returned the gesture in kind. Tina was ready to go the limits but our prisoner began to arouse from her forced nap. I grinned with glee and pointed out the development to Tina.

Tina laid a finger to her lips, and moved to the woman on the floor, and gently helped her sit up. Tamm was slow to pick up on the situation, but when she did, she made up for lost time, she was just getting her feet under her, thinking she would be able to escape, or turn the tables back her way, when Tina pointed out her nudity.

Tamm's anger multiplied rapidly at the degrading treatment of taking her clothes; and was more than happy to share her thoughts on our level of civility, when Lavern's screams cut through the air. The sound brought Tamm to silence.

I got up from the bed saying, "Sounds like Art figured out the combination to Lavern. Now it's time to figure out Tamm's for her."

Tina looked at me like I was crazy, "You're going to do that for her? Geof, why soil your hands on her?"

I replied, "Not the one that releases her, the one that opens her mind to sharing."

"Come along." Tina said, and handed me Tamm's leash. We walked slowly to the library, giving Lavern and Art at least a chance to recover before we joined the party. Tamm was quiet as a church mouse, but I figured that would change very soon, and saw no reason to start her mouth, so I used my eyes to tell Tina to lower a chandelier.

We entered the library to find Art still firmly implanted in Lavern, both of them still in the spasms of aftershock, so we skirted them and went to the far end of the room. Tina and I worked quickly and Tamm was hung in about two minutes.
