| Notes for Tanya Marie Smallwood |
Worked mostly at an Insurance Company in Detroit, Michigan. Hobby is with ceramics. She also paints canvas'. After my mom and dad split up when I was just going into 2nd grade due to my Dad's drinking problem, myself, my brother Brad and my mom lived together while she worked as a bar maid. We eventually got a live in babysitter, Michelle Peacock, who lived with us until my mom decided to marry Charles Alfred Parks when I was just going into 5th grade, around 1973. Our family grew from 3 to 9.....Chuck had 2 daughters, Connie and Susan.....3 sons Chucky, Larry and Jim. Chucky was already moved out, Susan was moving out. Eventually Connie moved out, then Larry, then myself when I joined the U.S. Navy in 1983.
Met my Dad when she was in ninth grade. They married to get my mom out of the house when she was 17. Grandpa Smallwood was mean. Grandma Smallwood would hang out with them at the beach and places.
Mom almost died the summer of 2003 from a spinal infection, but they caught it in time and she survived. |
